The Livingston County Board of Supervisors approved a wide-ranging consent agenda at its meeting, authorizing highway contracts, equipment purchases, tower leases and grant agreements for county operations.
The board moved and adopted a package of resolutions covering rental and purchase authorizations for highway construction equipment through April 1, 2027; award and purchase of aggregate materials through March 31, 2027; and approval of an hourly rate for town 10-wheel dump trucks used by the county through the end of 2027. The board also authorized a professional services contract for engineering, right-of-way and construction support for a federal/state-aid road rehabilitation project (New York State DOT PIN 4LV00008, County Road 84) that runs to the Monroe County line.
Other consent items included rescinding portions of prior resolutions related to a vacant rental grant program; approving the public-employee fidelity blanket bond for the Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council; awarding a municipal infrastructure bid (Bid No. 20265) to Syracuse Utilities LLC; and authorizing the chairman to sign multiple contracts for the Livingston County Sheriff's Office with several local school districts.
The board also authorized multiple communications-related lease agreements, including tower leases for the Wilson Road Tower (town of Gro) and a Jackman Hill Tower lease with the city of Rochester. A grant award contract with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services for the Sheriff's Office was approved as part of the consent calendar.
Procurements for county operations approved on consent included two 2026 Chrysler Pacifica minivans for the Office for the Aging and a 2026 Volvo ECR145F hydraulic excavator for the Highway Department. Several budget amendments and transfers for the 2026 county budget — including changes in health, highway and sheriff lines — and updates to the 2026 salary schedule were also adopted.
Most items were presented for unanimous consent and recorded as adopted in the meeting minutes. The motions were routine consent-agenda actions intended to authorize contracts, purchases and routine budget adjustments without separate substantive debate.
The assembled board proceeded through the consent agenda with roll call and formal adoption before moving to administrative updates and other business.
