At its June 9 meeting in Palmyra, the South Londonderry Township Board of Supervisors completed routine business: it approved the May 12, 2026 meeting minutes and the Bill and Payroll lists for 10 & 11‑2026; the May 27 workshop meeting was recorded as cancelled.
The board approved a $6,338 quote from General Codes to finish zoning codification and approved a $4,621.45 low quote from D.E. Gemmill for 2026 thermo pavement markings. Only one bid was received for the township gas‑pump system and it exceeded the budget; the board voted to reject that bid. The board also approved installation of Athletic Fitness Circuit equipment at Campbelltown Community Park, with materials and equipment to be donated by Lowe’s, Grainger and Eagle Rental.
Manager John Eberly reported that PennDOT has scheduled utility‑pole replacement work on Routes 322 and 117 through June 17, 2026. He also noted a Planning Commission meeting on June 16 to review a subdivision/land‑development plan for a proposed McDonald’s at Palmyra and Northside Roads; the Stonebrook at Northside Crossings annual fireworks display is scheduled for July 4 at dusk, and National Night Out is scheduled for Aug. 4 at In The Net.
The minutes record motions as "carried" for these items but do not include roll‑call tallies or further contract details in the meeting record.
