The Clearview Board of Education convened its regular meeting Aug. 27, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. and recorded a full quorum: Miss Echko, Mr. Koziura, Mrs. Love, Mrs. Sutton and Board President Michael Post. Dr. Davis attended as superintendent; Treasurer Mary Nowak was noted as excused.
The board approved the meeting agenda under Resolution 2025-131 after a motion by Mr. Koziura and a second from Mrs. Love. The motion passed with five votes in favor: Mr. Koziura, Mrs. Love, Miss Echko, Mr. Post and Mrs. Sutton.
Under Resolution 2025-132, the board then approved the minutes of the Aug. 21, 2025 special meeting. Mrs. Sutton moved to approve the minutes and Miss Echko seconded; the vote was unanimous in favor.
By unanimous vote on Resolution 2025-133, the board entered an executive session at 9:02 a.m. pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22(g)(1) to discuss the employment, dismissal or discipline of an employee and to investigate charges or complaints against an employee. The record states the superintendent, legal counsel, S. Peters and Noeleen Rothacker were invited to attend the closed session. The board’s minutes state that no action would be taken in open session as a result of the executive session.
The board exited executive session at 11:15 a.m. and adjourned the regular meeting at 11:16 a.m. under Resolution 2025-134; Miss Echko moved to adjourn and Mrs. Love seconded. The board noted a special meeting scheduled for Sept. 2, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. The meeting minutes were signed by Treasurer Mary Nowak and Board President Michael Post.
