Clearview Board approves 2025–26 permanent appropriation, bank agreement and two HB96 cybersecurity resolutions

The Clearview Board of Education on Sept. 8 accepted the district’s August financial reports and bank reconciliations and approved the 2025–2026 permanent appropriation and an amendment to the certificate of estimated resources.
The board also adopted two cybersecurity resolutions tied to HB96 requiring the district to adopt a cybersecurity program intended to safeguard data, information technology and systems and to ensure availability, confidentiality and integrity. The two resolutions reference implementation aligned with CIS and NIST frameworks, as noted in the agenda packet.
Board minutes show the board approved a one-year contract with Strategic Solutions for scanning services of Board meeting minutes at a cost of $1,500 per year. The board also approved a depository agreement with JP Morgan Chase Bank effective Aug. 22, 2025, through Aug. 23, 2030.
Separately, the board authorized the Auditor of State engagement for a State Teachers Retirement System audit as of June 30, 2025; the engagement letter lists a cost not expected to exceed $336, with a caveat that additional work would require an amendment to the engagement.
