"One of the most significant themes throughout this plan is future readiness," the presenter said, noting the plan integrates AI and emerging technologies not as an end in itself but to strengthen teaching, learning and leadership. The draft retains five strategic objectives and will be paired with a comprehensive 2026—27 action plan identifying timelines, responsible parties, performance measures and resource implications.
The presenter said the district will gather additional feedback from Northborough, Algonquin and Southborough administrators, parents (including the Special Education Parent Advisory and LPAC), and students, and that a formal presentation with metrics is planned for the September combined meeting, likely Sept. 16. Committee members thanked administrators for stakeholder engagement and described the plan as a "living document" that will surface during principals' reports and building-level action.
