Star Valley Ranch council weighs speed bumps, ATV concerns and water automation needs

The water board reported it has received the data it requested and is investigating demand charges at the wells. The board said it does not believe the system is fully automated and asked staff for a cost estimate to automate operations. The water board also raised the possibility of creating a separate sewer board or assigning sewer responsibilities to the water board.
No formal action on capital spending or automation contracts was taken at the work session; councilmembers noted those items would require further study and likely appear on a future agenda.
