BASWG approves April minutes; sets schedule for annual report and grant filings

At the June 12 BASWG meeting, members voted to approve the April minutes. The motion was recorded as: mover Mark Leonard, second Victor Smith, and the minutes state the motion was approved unanimously with a quorum present.
Facilitator Brenda Zollistch asked Rob Howard to check that all meeting minutes for program year 3 are posted on BASWG.org to support the annual report. The group recorded a Pulse data deadline of about July 15 (after PY3 ends), a plan to circulate a draft annual report for review, and a formal vote on the draft at the August 14 BASWG meeting. The final annual report must be submitted to Megan Hess for DEP by September 15.
Brenda identified a potential Portland-area accountant who works with small nonprofits; the group agreed hiring is not urgent because an anticipated EPA grant may not arrive due to federal administration changes. Members were reminded of grant reporting deadlines tied to outreach work: a final report to the Sage Foundation due June 15 and a Davis Conservation Foundation report due December 31. The meeting adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
