Upper Hanover adopts 2024 Budget Schedule C with 4% pay increase, approves several vendor contracts

Upper Hanover Township’s Board of Supervisors on Dec. 11 adopted the township’s 2024 Budget Schedule C, approved routine maintenance contracts and deferred several procurement items.
The board reviewed no changes to the vacation schedule, holiday schedule or pay classifications and agreed to a 4% rate increase for qualified employees. By motion of Ben Fiorito, seconded by Tim Woodward, supervisors voted 5‑0 to adopt the 2024 Budget Schedule C with the 4% increase.
On vendor contracts, the board deferred the 2024 tree removal contract until additional quotations are obtained and deferred pickleball court quotes pending a second quotation from Sport Court, Inc. Chairperson Steven Rothenberger moved and the board approved awarding the heating and cooling maintenance agreement to B&E for 2024. Supervisors also approved a one‑year extension with Modern Group for generator maintenance and a one‑year extension with John Miller and Son, Inc. for yard/leaf waste recycling; each motion passed 5‑0.
