Woolwich Township on April 7 approved a $9,882,294.85 award to Wyndam Construction LLC for Locke Avenue Park Development Phase 1 and adopted a consent agenda that included multiple administrative resolutions.
CFO Lois Yarrington told the Committee funds were available for R-2025-97 and explained certification placement on the account form; she also outlined why R-2025-101 (a 2025 emergency temporary budget under NJSA 40A:4-20) was needed. The award to Wyndam Construction LLC passed unanimously on roll call, 4–0.
The consent agenda (R-2025-94 through R-2025-104) was approved after Committeeman Frederick requested removal of R-2025-98 and R-2025-104 for separate consideration. Adopted items included performance-bond releases and acceptance of maintenance bonds (R-2025-94, R-2025-95), a refund correction (R-2025-96), deed acceptance (R-2025-100), a commodity resale agreement with the Kingsway Regional School District for gasoline (R-2025-102), and a police-department elevation (R-2025-103), among others.
The Committee confirmed the Kings Meadow deed has already been recorded and that R-2025-100 simply acknowledges acceptance of that deed. Committeeman Frederick asked procedural questions about budget certification and account placement, which the CFO answered. No public speakers addressed the Locke Avenue contract at the meeting.
Next steps: the Township will proceed with contract administration for Locke Avenue Park Phase 1 under the awarded contract and implement budget and certification steps described by the CFO.
