Upper Hanover board approves grants support, small purchases and honors volunteers

At its Nov. 14 meeting the Upper Hanover Board of Supervisors approved several administrative and noncontroversial items including authorizing up to $1,800 for preliminary design work by Keller Small Stream Solutions for the Macoby Run streambank restoration, approving an LED mini traffic advisor bar for $1,033 for the follow vehicle, and voting to send a letter of support for a TUHA grant application.
The board also adopted Resolution No. 2023‑37 authorizing a Statewide Local Share Assessment grant for sewage facilities analysis and planning for the Perkiomen Heights section of the township. Earlier in the meeting the board recognized Georgine Burg (five years on Parks & Recreation), Hunter DeBlock (Eagle Scout project at Camelot Park), and Debora L. Ervin (15 years of service in the administrative department) via resolutions adopted unanimously.
