During discussion, Superintendent Jeffrey Villar, Ph.D., addressed questions about student transportation. Board member Rob DeLayo asked whether the district would instead implement a delayed opening in the event of disruptive weather and requested that any contingency plan be included in communications to parents and guardians. Dr. Villar said he would authorize a delay if necessary and that he would include that information in his communications to families.
The minutes show that Chief Financial Officer Julia Cardillo was also present for the teleconference. The meeting adjourned at 6:16 p.m.; the minutes were submitted "Respectfully submitted" by Christine Escobar, Secretary pro-tem.
