Upper Hanover adopts personnel manual and master fee schedule, names deputy tax collector and thanks longtime volunteers

The Upper Hanover Township Board of Supervisors approved several administrative and ceremonial items at its Jan. 9 meeting, including adoption of personnel and fee policies, a deputy tax-collector appointment and volunteer recognition.
The board adopted Resolution No. 2024-10, accepting the 2024 Personnel Policies & Procedures Manual (motion by Tim Woodward, seconded by Dottie Diehl; approved 4-0). It also adopted Resolution No. 2024-01 to adopt the 2024 Master Fee Schedule (motion by Tim Woodward, seconded by Stefan Laessig; approved 4-0).
Stefan Laessig moved to appoint Diane Criddle as Deputy Tax Collector at the request of Tax Collector Jenni Wolfe; the motion was seconded by Tim Woodward and carried 4-0. The board also recognized Dean Kresge for 10 years of service on the Authority Board and presented him with a certificate of recognition (Resolution No. 2024-07 approved 4-0).
Manager Klepfer entered regular monthly reports into the record and noted there was no board interest in attending the PSATS conference in Hershey in April.
Next steps: Administrative changes take effect per township procedures; the manager will handle any administrative tasks associated with the deputy appointment and policy implementations.
