Members of the Planning Commission said they anticipated growing demand for in‑law suites as more families look to house or care for aging relatives. The Board told the commission that supervisors and staff, including Township Engineer Peter Eisenbrown and Solicitor Bresnan, have already discussed the topic and supported asking the solicitor to produce a draft amendment for the boards to review.
The direction taken at the April 18 work session was to prepare draft regulatory language; no formal ordinance was introduced or adopted. The boards said they expect to review and refine the solicitor’s draft in subsequent meetings.
