At the March 2 meeting the Litchfield Planning and Zoning Commission set a public hearing for March 16 on an application to construct a small detached accessory dwelling unit at 34 Scenic View Drive. Applicants W. Knize and owner V. Knize described a separate structure to the rear of their house intended as an accessory dwelling for a parent; the property also has a three-car garage and space for one parking space adjacent to the proposed structure.
The file includes a wetlands agent determination of no impact. The transcript notes that approval from TAHD was expected by the opening of the public hearing and that the applicants were instructed on required neighbor notification. Commissioner C. Bunnell moved to set the public hearing and G. Fuessenich seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
