Pittsfield honors Harold F. Glenross ahead of his 101st birthday

Representatives presented Glenross with a Boston Post cane and thanked him for his years of service to the town; the transcript records that Glenross served on the town council for a number of years and was mayor in 1982. Family members declined a posed photo at one point, and the group took photographs in the meeting room.
Councilors and attendees offered congratulations. The recognition was a brief ceremonial portion of the meeting before the council proceeded to budget and ordinance business.
