Otisfield Selectboard approves two warrants, signs planning-board letter and moves meeting start time earlier

The board moved and approved payment of Warrant #19 and Warrant #20 (motions recorded RM/FB; unanimous). The board signed a letter to the Otisfield Planning Board regarding the Wedding Barn on Rayville Road and agreed to send a partial payment for completed work on the Bell Hill cemetery fencing project. Brendan Bedell told the board a contractor can begin portico work in the spring after Rick Micklon said he could not find someone immediately.
The board voted to change Selectboard meeting start times from 7:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., effective March 1, 2026 (motion BB/RM; unanimous). Administrative Assistant Julie Ward also provided the board with the 2026 holiday schedule and reported continued work on the town's new website after online training with Board Secretary Brianne Rowell. The meeting adjourned at 8:29 p.m.
