Council advances rezoning of Paul Addition lots on first reading with no public comment

Mayor Devin Simpson presented a map of the area and acknowledged receipt of letters from Cindy Jaques and Christy Coleman. No members of the public spoke at the hearing, which opened at 6:02 p.m. and closed at 6:03 p.m.
After no questions or comments, Councilman Woolley moved and Councilwoman Passey seconded approval of Ordinance 366 on first reading; the motion carried. The record does not show a roll-call vote or amendments. The ordinance will proceed to subsequent readings as required by municipal procedure.
