On Dec. 15 the Smyth County Planning Commission approved a plat submitted by the Board of Supervisors related to the Adwolfe sewer-line project. Staff explained the plat creates a right-of-way for county utility infrastructure and that the parcel as drawn does not meet minimum lot-size requirements; the Board requested the commission’s approval due to the right-of-way creation. Commissioner David Spence moved to approve the plat; the motion was seconded and passed unanimously by commissioners present.
The commission recorded the vote and adjourned at approximately 6:15 p.m.
