Norwich Township approves emergency sewage pit purchase, skid-steer repair; splits pump cost with Hilliard

Township Administrator Jamie Fisher reported that on March 16 one of the Safety Services Building's two sewage pumps failed. Vice Chairman Brian Rothenberg moved to approve an emergency purchase of a sewage ejection pit through Radico for $4,000, with the cost to be split with the City of Hilliard; Trustee Trish Barker seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Robbie Thomas requested repair of the right-side drive motor for the township's 2018 skid steer. Trustees approved the $7,500 repair at Bobcat Enterprises after Mr. Rothenberg moved and Ms. Barker seconded the motion.
Fire Chief Dave Baird told the board he has put Amazon Web Services' sponsorship of a fire-prevention safety trailer on hold pending review related to the fuel-cell facility discussions. The board adjourned at 9:30 a.m.
