The Chebeague Island Selectboard met in executive session on Jan. 21, 2026 under 1 M.R.S.A. (6)(A) for personnel matters, committee appointments and a Town Administrator/Board review and appointed five volunteers to municipal committees.
The board appointed Kevin Paradise to the Board of Adjustments and Appeals, Chris Loder to the Facilities Committee, Robert Earnesst to the Housing Committee, Steve Hinchman to the Climate Action Team, and Gary Oderda to the Broadband Committee. Richard Hackel moved the appointment motions for the slate; David Hill seconded the votes recorded in the minutes.
All appointments were recorded as carried by the minutes with unanimous voice votes except the Housing Committee appointment: the minutes state the motion to appoint Robert Earnesst passed with four in favor and one opposed (Eliza Jane Adams opposed).
The board entered executive session at 7:00 p.m.; it later exited executive session at 7:40 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 7:43 p.m.
