The Chebeague Island School Superintendent reported that tours of Yarmouth High School and Harrison Middle School are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 7, starting at 9:30 a.m., and that committee members Caitlin Henningsen and Carly Knight will attend.
He also updated the committee on the Outer Island Teaching and Learning Collaborative (TLC) field trip planned for Nov. 12—6. 14 in Farmington, Maine. Because the TLC changed its management and limited the number of adults permitted to attend, the school developed a supervision plan in consultation with families and teachers. Under that plan, Pre-K and K students will not attend the trip and will remain in school on Chebeague Island; all students in grades 1 through 6 will participate.
Appreciation was recorded in the minutes for families and staff for their flexibility in adjusting to the TLC expectations.
