Chebeague Island School Committee approves agenda and minutes, schedules next meetings

The Chebeague Island School Committee convened Sept. 16 and approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from Sept. 2. Erin Layng moved to approve the agenda and Caitlin Henningsen seconded; the motion passed 5-0-0. Elizabeth Doughty moved to approve the Sept. 2 minutes and Carly Knight seconded; that motion also passed 5-0-0.
The committee logged three emails in correspondence supporting proposed overnight field trips with the Outer Islands Teaching and Learning Collaborative. A warrant for FY26 was presented for approval, but the minutes do not record a vote on the warrant during this meeting. The committee confirmed its next regular meeting for Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Chebeague Island School and noted the joint meeting with Yarmouth School Committee on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025 at 8:45 a.m. at the Yarmouth School District office.
