Woolwich JLUB grants one-year extension for Oak Grove Road site plan

The Woolwich Township Joint Land Use Board on April 16 unanimously approved a one-year extension for the Final Major Site Plan approval for Oak Grove Road Woolwich, LLC (PB2023-17), extending the approval to June 2027 to allow time for pending county approvals.
Attorney Richard Wells, representing the applicant, told the board the county review that the project needs remains pending and asked the board to extend the approval by one year. Solicitor Mike Aimino advised the board that when outside agency approval is the reason for an extension request and the extension protects the applicant from zoning changes, the board “shall” approve the extension. Chairperson Grasso also read a letter from Ted Wilkinson stating no objection to the request.
Member Cotton moved to grant the extension and Fluellen seconded. The motion carried by unanimous roll-call vote with Cotton, Kauffman, Matthias, Nocentino, Silberman, Trautz, Healey, Fluellen and Grasso voting yes. No conditions beyond the standard requirement to submit final compliance plans once outside approvals are received were listed at the meeting.
The board’s action preserves the project’s current approvals while the applicant secures outstanding county sign-offs. The applicant indicated it will submit final compliance plans for the board’s professional review once county approvals are obtained.
The board moved next to other business and there was no further discussion on the Oak Grove Road item.
