BASWG advances outfall‑sign project, cleanup events and school outreach

Cara Bellanger described Street and Stream cleanup events as "above and beyond compliance" and asked MS4 communities to contact her for supplies and support. The group discussed marking event sites and coordinating volunteers.
Brenda Zollistch said she presented the outfall‑sign project at a recent conference and plans to produce a webinar to share on BASWG social media. "Brenda will make a webinar to share on social media," the minutes record; members noted a BASWG webpage for the signs and discussed seeking new sponsors and confirming whether all signs are installed.
Abe said he will collect materials for a "River in Your Backyard" exhibit. Megan said she would request materials from MDM. Melissa Gallagher asked whether BASWG could provide a water table for schools and indicated she has grant funding to cover that as a donation.
Members also flagged training opportunities: a Live Stake Training scheduled for April 14, 2025, in Orono (10 a.m. with John McClaine) and an upcoming 'Our Shores Living Shores' training that Megan will circulate by email. The group recorded an annual report folder to be started in the shared Google Drive.
