The Goshen Board of Public Works and Safety on Tuesday approved an agreement to provide $25,000 to Lasso Go, Inc. to support the Empower Goshen Partnership for Progress.
A board member moved, “I move that the city of Goshen approve the agreement with Lasso Go, Inc. to support the Empower Goshen Partnership for Progress project for $25,000,” and the motion was seconded and approved unanimously. The chair announced the motion passed.
Engineering and administrative staff described the selection mechanism for city partners: organizations considered will be subject to an application process that requires a detailed description of how the funds will be used, and chosen organizations must account for the funds under the terms of an agreement. The motion and funding authorize city staff to execute the agreement with Lasso Go, Inc.
The approval does not describe additional reporting deadlines or performance metrics beyond the application and accounting requirements included in the agreement language shared with the board. The board moved on to the next agenda items after the vote.
