The Scott County School District 2 board approved a routine renewal of the memorandum of understanding with Madison Special Education Services for the 2026–27 school year and separately adopted a resolution to authorize ACH electronic payments to vendors.
The superintendent described the Madison Special Education Services agreement as an ongoing partnership and said the MOU is a renewal with no substantive changes. The board moved to approve the MOU and the motion carried.
On the ACH resolution, the superintendent said the change responds to an auditor recommendation to allow electronic transfers. After a brief explanation and a motion from the chair (seconded by another member), the board approved the resolution to permit ACH payments to vendors.
The board also approved a consent agenda earlier in the meeting covering coach renewals, field trips, facilities items and several job postings. No roll-call tallies were recorded in the transcript; the chair called the questions and noted motions carried.
