Covington council approves alley closure for 1835 Events after public support

Three visitors spoke in support of allowing the alley to be closed during events. Resident Glen Hollopeter said he supported closing the alley for scheduled events. Jordan Lear, owner of 1835 Events, thanked the council for considering the closures. Jeanne Scott, another resident, also voiced support. Administrator Jordan Hodges told council staff had received multiple letters of support and that he and Mr. Lear had negotiated the terms that are included as Exhibit A to the resolution.
