Council approves nuisance and weed abatements, parade permits and airport appointment

The Talladega City Council approved a slate of routine and enforcement items and took several unanimous votes during the meeting.

• Resolution 6701 (nuisance abatement) — declared the property at 715 North Street East a public nuisance and authorized abatement; motion carried unanimously.

Councilors also approved minutes from the May 28, 2026 meeting and heard the city manager report on a Coca‑Cola donation of scoreboards and a scholarship.
