Finance staff says state bills on Police and Fire retirement, water billing unlikely to pass this session

She also said an Ohio House bill to make water bills the responsibility of the tenant "will require us to pass legislation, but it probably won’t pass this session either."
When Mr. Colvin asked how Ms. Morley’s meeting with Local Government Services had gone, she said the meeting "didn’t happen due to their difficulty scheduling." Mr. Colvin suggested the village "might pay Ms. Crockett for consulting to resolve the issues." The committee did not record any formal directive or vote on that suggestion in the transcript.
