Town Clerk Benjamin Sumner presented the budget and the warrant packet. Chair Katelyn Damon moved to approve and sign the 2026 budget and warrant as presented; January Bennett seconded the motion, which carried 3-0.
Separately, the board reviewed Warrant #57 for $18,700.31, Warrant #58 for $8,989.04 and Warrant #59 for $182,411.93, and signed them without dissent. During that review, Select Board member Ingrid Gaither and January Bennett asked about GCI snow-shoveling hours and snow removal for the Town Office ramp. Chair Damon asked Administrative Assistant James Fortune to discuss the current snow-shoveling contract with the contractor and report back.
The approvals were routine and part of the board’s usual financial oversight. No further budget amendments were proposed at the meeting.
Action items assigned at the meeting direct staff to follow up on the snow-shoveling contract and to circulate any contractor responses to the Select Board.
