Covington council appoints Lisa Cavender as fiscal officer, waives reading requirement

Legal counsel Frank Patrizio asked the council to amend the agenda to take up R39-25 immediately; President Amy Welborn made the motion to amend, Julie Blumenstock seconded it, and the motion passed "all ayes." The council then voted to waive the three-reading rule and approved the resolution. Mr. Patrizio administered the Oath of Office to Lisa Cavender following the vote.
