Sylvania council schedules Committee of the Whole to consider proposed limits on city assistance to federal immigration enforcement

The Committee of the Whole is scheduled to meet in City Council Chambers, 6635 Maplewood Avenue.
The Feb. 2 minutes record that Council did not adopt Ordinance No. 37-2026 that evening; instead, members opted to schedule the committee meeting so councilors and the public can consider the proposed legislation before any first reading is held in a regular council session. The clerk or administration was directed to publish meeting notice ahead of the Feb. 17 meeting. The council adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
