The Cranberry Isles Select Board agreed April 7 to put the municipal solid waste (MSW) contract out to bid in June after reviewing the current contract. Chair Katelyn Damon presented the MSW contract and the board agreed, without dissent, on the June bidding timeline.
The board also considered an agreement with Versant Power for a proposed town-office solar battery expansion. James Fortune presented the Versant agreement and the Select Board held general discussion but took no formal action on the proposal.
Katelyn Damon presented a draft TCI data and records retention policy; Town Clerk Benjamin Sumner advised on current records processes and the board recommended further refinement before formal adoption. James Fortune described the current towing process for town parking locations and the Select Board agreed that Damon will draft an abandoned-vehicle policy for town property.
