Sylvania Schools leaders ask Council to back May 5 "Issue 4" operating levy

Motley, Feller and Haye asked Council for public support ahead of the May 5 vote. No formal action by Council on the levy was recorded at the meeting; the presentation served as an informational request and a public appeal to local elected officials.
The levy will appear on the May 5, 2026 ballot. The district asked residents and officials to consider the ballot measure as a means to sustain day-to-day services and staffing amid increased costs.
