East Rockhill approves $826,336.76 in bills, greenlights engineering study and change orders

The East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors approved the Bills List dated Sept. 19, 2025 totaling $826,336.76 and accepted multiple department reports at its Sept. 23 meeting.
On motion by Supervisor Dave Nyman and seconded by Supervisor Jim Nietupski, the board voted unanimously to approve the meeting minutes from Aug. 27 and the bills payable list totaling $826,336.76. The board also accepted the Pennridge Regional Police Department’s August activity report and Planning Commission and Pennridge Wastewater Treatment Authority reports by unanimous motions.
The board approved a change order from Yates Electrical Service for low‑voltage wiring related to the Public Works Maintenance Building replacement in the amount of $3,709.49 (motion by Dave Nyman; second by Jim Nietupski; unanimous). Township Engineer Steve Baluh reported that Traffic Planning and Design’s phase‑2 study of the Stone Edge Culvert will not include a final bridge design but will provide documentation to support grant submissions; the board accepted the Traffic Planning and Design proposal for $59,650.00 by motion and unanimous vote.
The board also authorized the sale of skate park equipment at Willard H. Markey Centennial Park, as recommended by the Parks and Recreation Board, and acknowledged Department and Emergency Services reports. Supervisor Dave Nyman requested an executive session after the meeting to discuss a potential land acquisition; the meeting was adjourned into executive session at 8:22 p.m.
