Commissioners adopt updated flood-hazard ordinance from state guidance

The board moved to approve "county ordinance 2026-07" for flood and dam prevention; the motion carried by voice vote. Commissioners thanked Carpenter for the work and moved on to later agenda items.
Next steps: the ordinance will be recorded and incorporated into the county's official regulatory code; staff will handle implementation and public notification as required by statute.
