Ordinance No. 2025-18, proposing a Village cybersecurity program pursuant to Ohio Revised Code section 9.64, was read for the first time at the Dec. 8 meeting and tabled for further coordination with county IT services.
Police Chief Carl Dondorfer suggested tabling the ordinance so the Village can confirm that its program would be consistent with the County’s cybersecurity program; the County provides IT services to the Village. The minutes record the ordinance was tabled without a recorded formal motion to adopt at that time.
No subsequent action on the ordinance was recorded in the minutes; it will be considered again after staff confirms alignment with county policies.
