After discussion the commission moved, seconded and approved a motion to accept the offer for John to chair the December meeting. The motion carried on a voice vote.
The departing chair said they were willing to provide a month-to-month holdover only if the trustees take affirmative action to authorize it and asked staff to communicate that condition to the trustees. The commission confirmed the December meeting date and the interim chair arrangement so the commission will have a presiding officer in place for next month's session.
