The Lowell Planning Board on June 15 approved its June 1 meeting minutes after a board member asked for a clarification that a Condition (No. 5) related to 260 High Street should more precisely reflect the traffic engineer’s recommendation that signage be used to ensure vans exit the site in a forward direction. The board discussed amending the minutes to capture that intent and then voted to approve the minutes.
Chair read the legal notice for 123 University Ave (TLGLE LLC), a proposal to convert the property to two ground-floor commercial units and 12 studio apartments. The applicant requested a continuance to address on-site parking alternatives; the board agreed to continue the matter to Sept. 10 at the applicant’s request.
The meeting proceeded to other agenda items, including the subdivision at 202 Barker Ave and the 71 Willey Street site-plan and special-permit matters, which the board handled later in the agenda.
