Votes at a glance: Bolton PZC continues special permit hearing, releases Able Coil bonds, approves 2021 schedule

The Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission handled several procedural items at its Oct. 14 virtual meeting, including continuance of a special permit hearing, bond releases, and adoption of next year’s meeting dates.
Special permit: Patrice Carson read the legal notice for William Phillips’ Special Permit Application for 1 Notch Road and the applicant requested the hearing be opened and continued to allow time to address neighborhood concerns. Chairman Adam Teller moved to continue the hearing to Nov. 18, 2020; Commissioner Thomas Manning seconded. The motion passed unanimously, 7-0-0.
Bond release: The commission approved a full release of Able Coil’s Site Improvement Bond of $110,282 and authorized release of 80% ($20,880) of the Erosion & Sedimentation Bond, holding $5,220 until spring 2021 to ensure turf establishment. The motion, moved by Thomas Manning and seconded by James Cropley, passed 7-0-0.
Meeting schedule: Commissioner Christopher Davey moved to approve the 2021 regular meeting dates and file them with the Town Clerk as required by statute; the motion passed 7-0-0.
The commission also noted the DOT Transportation Plan circulation and received a report on a statewide planning conversation about racism and zoning. Chairman Teller adjourned the meeting at 9:11 p.m.
