Bolton wetlands commission holds budget steady, agent to inspect Route 44 and Notch Road sites

The Bolton Inland Wetlands Commission on Dec. 19 voted unanimously to keep its July 2018–June 2019 budget unchanged from 2017–2018.
Chairman Ross Lally proposed maintaining the budget at the same level as the prior year. Vice Chair James Loersch moved to hold the budget constant, David Ostafin seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
During the agent report, Inland Wetlands Agent Barbara Kelly said she will walk the Route 44 site where work is underway to complete a dentist office. Chairman Ross Lally told the commission there has been some activity on Notch Road within the upland review area that occurred without first coming to the commission; Agent Kelly said she will inspect the Notch Road property.
No members of the public were present for comment, and the commission approved the Nov. 28, 2017 minutes by unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 P.M. Minutes were filed by Board Clerk Corrine O’Brien and will be subject to approval at a subsequent meeting.
