CCRPC equity advisory meeting yielded multilingual input for ECOS plan; staff to follow up on low survey response

Anne Nelson Stoner updated the Executive Committee on equity-related engagement tied to the ECOS regional plan at the Feb. 7 meeting.
Stoner said CCRPC partnered with the State’s Climate Action Office for the Equity Advisory Committee meeting on Jan. 31, which drew about 50 participants and verbal or written input in three to four languages; staff produced six pages of written feedback from that session. Stoner also reported on an EPIC survey distributed to CCRPC staff, committees and partners; due to a low response rate, Executive Director Charlie Baker will send a follow-up email asking for participation.
Stoner briefed members on ongoing ECOS engagement planning and mentioned an upcoming installation of three small meeting pods in the CCRPC office; Baker clarified the pods will be located at the front of the office, will not reduce existing meeting space and are intended to allow more staff to meet virtually while in the office.
Committee members did not take formal action but directed staff to continue outreach and return updates as engagement proceeds.
