CCRPC committee signs letter supporting Blakely Road traffic-signal application, raises concerns about Farmall Drive connector

Jacki Murphy moved to approve the CCRPC letter as written supporting the application; Elaine Haney seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
On the Farmall Drive Connector (Hinesburg, application 4C1140-5), Taylor said staff had not prepared a letter and would follow up with committee members by email. Staff expressed concerns that the proposed amendment would close an existing grid street connection and would not align with the CCRPC’s Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). Staff offered to continue dialogue with the town and provide technical assistance. Michael Bissonette provided historical context on the connector’s location.
