At the Jan. 8 meeting the Dedham selectmen approved routine business items, including the adoption of the Dec. 4, 2025 meeting minutes and acceptance of reports from Fire Chief Zack Cronkhite, Treasurer Michelle Fish and CEO Alexandria Treworgy. The board also approved multiple payables and payroll warrants as prepared; the warrants motion passed 3-0-0.
The selectmen appointed Randy Albert to the Budget Committee and Michael Polizzo as an alternate to the Planning Board, with terms expiring June 30, 2028; the appointments were approved 3-0-0.
On old business the board reviewed a draft Short Term Rental Application form and the existing Fees Policy and indicated they are in favor of using the current draft and adjusting it as needed.
Under new business the selectmen noted there has been dumping on property owned by Atlantic Communications and indicated the Town will not clean up that property; the board said the property owner should be encouraged to install cameras and a gate if not already present.
The meeting adjourned at 18:30. Minutes were submitted by Michelle C. Fish, Deputy Town Clerk.
