Several public commenters supported sending the alert broadly to ensure facilities that operate ADDS units but are not categorized identically still receive the notice.
The compounding self‑assessment was updated to reflect the October 1, 2025 compounding regulations and the committee suggested minor editorial fixes (clarifying pharmacist abbreviations, correcting a footer date and ensuring USP references link clearly for non‑subscribers). Staff said they would adjust the links and correct typographical items before the board packet.
The committee also reviewed a new outsourcing‑facility self‑assessment (AB1503 added a self‑assessment requirement for outsourcing facilities) and agreed to send a subscriber alert and refer the draft form to the full board for consideration. Members confirmed the statutory intent is that outsourcing facilities licensed by the board — including out‑of‑state outsourcing facilities licensed by California — will be expected to complete the form.
Each updated or new form will be added to the full board agenda at the June 24–25 meeting for consideration and public comment.
