Woodbridge council adopts two parking ordinance amendments, advances four others and approves 33 resolutions by consent

By consent, the council approved resolutions numbered 1 through 33. Multiple members announced abstentions on resolution number 10 and on related license matters (comments identified several abstentions by one or more members for items tied to local organizations such as the American Irish Association, Knights of Columbus, Elks and American Legion). The meeting record shows the abstentions were noted prior to the consent vote; the remainder of the resolutions were approved by motion and second.
Council members also received and heard routine departmental proposals and project quotes during the meeting, including a proposal for intersection improvements at Baron and Freeman Street for $101,800 and GIS/tax mapping support for $50,580; these items were presented by department directors and listed for resolution consideration.
