Tremont — The Tremont Select Board opened a public hearing at 5:02 p.m. on Aug. 11 on an application by the Southwest Harbor / Tremont Chamber of Commerce for a Special Taste Testing state liquor license and a Special Amusement permit for Acadia’s Oktoberfest, scheduled for Oct. 10–11, 2025 at 90 Tremont Road.
Chair Jamie Thurlow opened the hearing and public comment was heard. The chair closed the hearing at 5:05 p.m. The minutes record that public comment occurred but do not record any subsequent motion to approve or deny the license or permit at that meeting.
Because the minutes do not attribute public commenters by name, this account does not attribute specific statements to individuals. Any final licensing action would appear in later minutes or a subsequent agenda item if taken.
