Councelor Leoff asked which roofs were included; Peach clarified the funds cover the south and west school roofs.
After brief clarifications, the council adopted the bond order by roll-call vote. The measure authorizes the treasurer, with the approval of the mayor, to borrow under Chapter 44 and take actions necessary to carry out the order. The order was introduced April 23, published May 14 and May 28, 2026, and was adopted as advertised on June 11.
