Dover ConCom issues certificates of compliance for two completed restorations

The Dover Conservation Commission voted Wednesday to issue certificates of compliance for two residential projects after staff confirmed restoration work and required conditions were satisfied.

Janet, the commission's conservation agent, told members she had inspected the property at 7 Ledgewood Drive (COC request 144-0814) and found the restoration plantings healthy and all order-of-condition requirements met. "I have been out to the site. I've confirmed that all of the order of condition requirements have been met and that the restoration plantings are healthy," Janet said, and recommended the commission approve the certificate "with the four our standard four permanent conditions." The commission closed the hearing and voted unanimously to issue the certificate.

At 36 Miller Hill Road (COC request 144-0895), Janet reported that pool, patio and grading work were completed in compliance with the previously approved order of conditions and that required signage and bounds were in place. She recommended approval of that COC with the same set of standard conditions; the commission again voted to close the hearing and issue the certificate.

Both approvals were procedural and uncontroversial: commissioners moved to close the hearings, seconded the motions and recorded unanimous roll-call support. The agent said the approvals will be finalized in staff reports and the standard conditions will be placed on the issued certificates. The commission noted that items still needing follow-up on other files, such as missing signage or written verification from applicants, will be handled separately through staff review and future hearings.

The commission's next regular meeting will include continued hearings and additional administrative items the staff flagged for follow up, including other certificate-of-compliance requests and requested plan revisions.
