Trails Committee reports 400+ visitors to Pownalborough Courthouse trails; Summerfest set for July 19

The Trails Committee reported that more than 400 visitors used the Pownalborough Courthouse trails last month and that an anonymous or named donation from Mike Fraumini funded additional trail brochures, committee members said Nov. 6.
Brochures were distributed to local outlets including the Pownalborough Courthouse, Goranson Farm, Bridge Academy Library, Dresden Take-Out, the Coffee Shop, and the Bowman House, which will hold brochures until spring. The next clean-up day at Green Point was scheduled for spring.
Committee members confirmed that Summerfest will take place on July 19 next year, that the Keith Woods band will be invited to play, and that local businesses such as Rustic Soaps will be included among vendors.
